Hello, good morning, afternoon, or evening to whoever reads this.
I have been using Retropie on my RPi4 for quite a while, since its integration with Steam Link offered waaaayyy too many benefits over Batocera.

However, I'm here for a completely different reason. Certain DAPHNE games utilized paddle controllers (or steering wheels, for simplicity's sake) like GP World, which is a particular game I'm interested in playing.

The game runs fine, with no crashes found on my "normal" playthroughs. There is at least one issue that is bugging me, though. Unlike most MAME driving games, where you stop steering once you stop pressing the button corresponding to a direction, DAPHNE keeps going in that same direction unless you blindly try to "stop" it from steering further, making the game hellishly harder to play.

I have tried using Hypseus for that matter, since it has more advanced SDL2 support, and (supposedly) follows DAPHNE's file structure. However, the emulator simply returns to the RetroPie menu after showing its loading screen for a couple of seconds.

I'm more interested in solving this "steer drift" issue. Fixing Hypseus can be done later.

      Thanks in advance!
