@duglor said in 3DS emulator for Pi users based on "Borked 3DS":

Does this emulator work with RetroPie 4.71? I think i read only rpg's really work on it. Does that include Fire Emblem-Awakenings?

With this version of Borked 3DS, almost all games works well on a Pi5 (64 Bit) .

Can you try Smash Bros with Vulkan. On my side, I got good result.

@duglor Yes, Fire Emblem Awakening should be playable on both a Pi5 and a overclocked Pi4 with a 64-bit Raspberry Pi OS, the latter more so with HW Shader Acc turned on. Note that the official RetroPie image I believe is still 32-bit and so that will not be able to run Borked3DS-rpi. Are you using a Pi5 or a Pi4?

@DTEAM Is HW Shader Acceleration working on Vulkan? I will give that a try later. I hadn't even tested Vulkan and just assumed that it wouldn't work because I have literally put no effort into fixing that video backend. I did try HW Shader Acceleration using GLES in Smash yesterday on my heavily overclocked Pi4 and I believe that it did boost gameplay speed from like 30% to 45% but it is still far from playable.
