N64 analog stick not detected

Hey, I bought a new n64 adapter for my Retropie, when I try to setup the keys everything works fine until I have to map the analog stick, the system doesn't detect the analog stick. I tried this on Windows and everything has been detected, I'm using the original N64 controller with the Huijia USB adapter. I can't find any solution on the internet, does anyone know how to fix this?
I'm using the Raspberry Pi 2 Model B.
