There's not many cabs are as entertaining switched off, as they are switched on, but I think you've cracked it!

Could sit and look at that side-art for hours and still see something new!

      Excellent job.

Wow, this must be the best artwork i've seen to date for a bartop machine! Would you share it, or is it strictly personal?

                Kind regards from Denmark.

Excellent work dude, love the fact you got Beavis and Butthead in there too! A friend of mine is also an artist and he's done a Day of The Tentacle themed cab. I've tried to get him to post it here, but he's busy doing about a million other things. I'll get a pic of it coz its pretty cool. As you say, if you've got some graphic design skills it's good to use them for something you really enjoy instead of another drab corporate logo.

This is what my mate did. I was pretty impressed by the finish.

I'm building a bartop as we speak and came across this... Just want to say FANTASTIC job. Its the first compilation piece that is done truly right. IMHO.
If you would sell/license a one-time use for my cabinet, let me know I would gladly pay for this, its THAT good. cheers.

So this post inspired me a lot and I'm currently building a Kung Fury Cabinet.
One question: What did you use for the black bezel around the monitor? is that a sheet of melamine or something? trying to figure that out. I will post some pics if anyone wants to see it when done ;)

@MaTTyDredZ I first used a sheet of white polystyrene that I had lying around, cut the screen shape out of it and spray painted it matte black. Then overlayed a sheet of clear acrylic over it. The acrylic is starting to get scratched and its hard to clean, so I'm going to replace it with glass soon. I found that at home stores like Home Depot sell window pane glass and glass cutters in their window section real cheap, its just a matter of cutting the right size.

Amazing bartop, can I ask where did you have the side art printed and what options did you chose for printing.
                                          Many thanks

@Capeman That's a great idea... Acrylic is a pain. would have never have thought of glass to be honest. I'm getting closer with the Kung Fury Cab... Wholly crap its soooo much work as I am going to make it perfect even if it kills me.... you inspired me and really raised the bar in the bartop space!!

The reason I landed here in the first place is because I was looking for someone who used wood panelling on the cab like kung fury and old arcade cabs. You did it justice here... what did you use for the texture? did you recreate from a 70's wood panel? like a photo? looks SO good. colors and levels spot on!!

You should submit your cab to arcade controls forum for their awards that they do every year IMHO.
