Currently running my first setup and all has been well until this point. Pi 3 B + RetroPie 4.1.4. Original SNES controllers and usb converter.

Everything works fine within SNES games, used the EmuStation joypad mapper etc. and all keys are recognized. The controllers work fine in all menus but when trying to load a SMD game they do not work from within the game and I must use the keyboard to reset back to EmuStation.

I tried messing with RetroArch from within the game, changing it to 6-key (which I don't need/have 32x etc.) and so far nothing. Do I need to change the config file to look for the SNES controller since I dont have a SEGA one?

I just want to use the SNES controller for the old 3-button Sega games - I would assume SEGA EMU would just work considering A/B/Y are mapped to the SNES joypad...?

      Help!
