im trying to get the Gen II Color/sprite Music Rom hacks of Red & Blue to work, they run allright just... gambatte because they still have the flag in teh header set that its still an gb rom, it wont load it as such and just colorizes the screen w/ the old Green monochrome filter :/

i made sure that it was patched right and teh games do show up in color in VBA-M

i know gambatte normally has an option for it as an LibRetro Core according to the wiki, but im guessing we're not going to have those core options for retropie.

so does anyone know a way to force gambatte to load it as a GBC Rom, or any header editors that'd do the trick to set it as a GBC Cart?

and slightly off topic the only rom i've loaded that seems to oddly have an issue on the Pi Zero or Pi3 (my Pi2 runs autonomously as a Net radio station player, [YAY FOR PIANOBAR!]) is the Gameboy vers of Beavis & butthead, in the titlescreen and mode select (New/password/options) is lags horribly in sound. when it demos the gameplay it's Just fine. bad dump perhaps?

(using a Pi Zero w/ 32GB MicroSD, 4.1 premade sd image, 2A 5v charger for a power supply) (the beavis & butthead gb rom issue tested on both Pi zero and Pi3)

@CaelThunderwing you can go into the retroarch gui and change the color palette.

@CaelThunderwing Did you find any good 1:1 settings from a GB game to GBC? I haven't, even in the RetroArch config options. Eg. the color from Pokemon Blue does not match what it would be if I put it into an actual GBC (where Charmander would be red and Bulbasaur be green). I tried changing the file format to GBC with no avail.
