      Greetings all

I'm new to all things Pi and have just set up my Raspberry Pi 3B with RetroPie. Most emulators and games are working really well for me but I am stumped about this one:

I'm running Ocarina of Time on N64 using the mupen64plus-GlideN64-highres emulator
This works like a dream, but my default shader (crt-pi) does not get applied (it does get applied to all other emulators)

If I use the lr-glupen64 emulator then the shader is applied but the resolution is reduced to 320x240 (why on earth is this hard-coded?!)

How do I enable shaders with the highres emulator?

      Many thanks.

@Blaze said in N64 highres with shader?:

          mupen64plus-GlideN64-highres

not a libretro (lr-) emulator, so can't use libretro shaders.

If I use the lr-glupen64 emulator then the shader is applied but the resolution is reduced to 320x240 (why on earth is this hard-coded?!)

because many n64 games have performance issues on the pi even at this resolution.

it can be changed, it's a retroarch core option
