      Hello to all !

This weekend I successfully upgraded to the latest retropie version:

      1. I upgraded the update script
      2. I upgraded retropie

Everything is going fine, excepted that the splash screen (with the retropie logo) which is supposed to be shown when booting is not displayed. I have an error message at the bottom of the screen (this evening I can tell you exactly what error message is displayed).

Did someone else experienced the same problem ?
How can it happen ? Any way to fix it ?

      Thanks,

      Stéphane

        Hi,

I figured out that after every update the splashscreens settings are set back to default. I use the splashscreen randomizing feature
and this is disabled and have to be configured again after any update (very anoying).
Maybe the reason for your error is in the same direction ?

          Thanks for your reply.
Indeed, I will check this evening.

I remember seeing something about a splash screen option somewhere in the config menus ...
