      Good day everyone,

I'm new to the retropie community, and I've managed to install it and get it running just fine on my Raspberry Pi 3. So far, I'm really satisfied ! I boot by default into Kodi because I watch more films and TV shows than I retroplay, but when I quit to EmulationStation, my games play smoothly and the nostalgia kicks in (except for games such as Zelda : Majora's Mask, but I understand that N64 isn't perfectly supported to this day).

So far I use a 10 buttons wired controller, but it's quite restrictive : I can't even play SNES games properly. I'm quite poor, to be honest, so I looked on the Internet and found a cheap bluetooth controller (I found its brand name to be "Sminiker"). It's best suited for Android devices but the instruction manual claims it can be used on a PC.
However, I can't get it to pair with my Raspberry.
As said on the wiki page, I apt-installed pi-bluetooth, rebooted, went into the "Register and Connect to Bluetooth Device" while my gamepad is in connect mode, but I always get the "no devices found" error message.

Typing "systemctl status bluetooth" in command-line returns "active (running)".

As I understand it, the gamepad has three different pairing modes : two for iOS Devices and one called "handle mode" : this one seems to mimic the arrow and return keys from a keyboard, but I could only test it on my Android device, as I have no Bluetooth dongle to test it on my laptop.
I tried to pair it in the 3 different modes, but to no avail.

Does someone has a solution to help me pair my controller with my Raspberry Pi 3 ? Some drivers to install, maybe ?
Please tell me it's possible, I can't imagine that a Linux system can't handle this kind of controller, especially if Android can. :/

      Thanks for reading !
