snes srm files and symlinks

Hey everyone, if I type this: ln -s bszelda_ast1.srm bszelda_ast2.srm with changing the 2 to 3, and 4 as well, will that work to set all 4 roms for BS Zelda to the same save file so that I can save them all and not have to rename the files later when I switch roms?
This is for the Satellaview reconstruction of the Zelda game and the roms are in four parts the way that you would have four discs in later game systems such as psx but there is no utility like psx2psp for snes roms.

Answered the question myself by just running part one. It seems to work, but man satellaview games are odd.
