Hey, I was browsing around a bit and wonder, is it possible to stream lets say MAME running on a pc to the nearby TV through a very short ethernet home network? There's a couple of non fighting games like outrunners that run terribly on the pi3 and would love to know if streaming from a PC is a thing, I came across talk about Steam games being possible to stream to a pi in this way. Would be really cool I think.

If you are using NVIDIA Drivers and the NVIDIA Experience thingy you can use your pi as a NVIDIA Shield device and stream content from your pc. There is a working implementation for raspbian.

You could read this for implementing into RetroPie: https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/issues/1082

I guess limelight is something similar, but I don't reale know that

        System: Raspberry 3 Model B, RetroPie 4.2.1
Storage: 16gb Micro SD, 64gb USB Drive
        Theme: Updated NBBA
