SNES mini theme
-
@lostless actually the snes mini theme is compatible with multiple different resolutions. In the customisation guide it lists them. It can then be changed in the config.xml.
-
@quicksilver the resolution of the screen is: 320x240
@lostless I use GBZ35 theme too but believe me the snes mini theme by @ruckage is my fav.
@quicksilver I change the resolution in config.xml but nothing. -
@scott1986 I checked, it looks like 640x480 is the lowest supported resolution.
-
Now that the grid view is in the final ES branch would be possible to add theming for it in this theme?
-
@quicksilver I know it bro.... I hope @ruckage make a version for gbz. PLEASE @ruckage
-
hii, love these, total 'noob' so if anyone can tell me how to add these to ny retropi im be very grateful plsss :)
-
@ash786i The same way you'd add any theme - go into the RetroPie system in Emulationstation, then open the ES Themes menu and select the theme you want to install to add it to your installed themes.
-
Hello, I am having problems when loading the theme, do not load the interface graphics, it stays blank and you only see the names of the systems in plain text, the carbon theme loads correctly, if I have verified that inside of each category is the distribution of the cover and text applied, but nothing more, white backgrounds and no sounds.
I did not find anything about it, I hope you can help me. Thank you -
@Paisano87 Can you add more info about your system - https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first ?
-
Thank you for answering mitu
I have a Raspberry Pî 3 B and RetroPie 4.4.9 version
Thanks -
@Paisano87 What do you have your gpu/cpu memory split set to?

Sorry, I do not understand what you are asking me
-
@Paisano87 Check the
/boot/config.txt
file on your sd card, or insert the SD card into your PC and open theconfig.txt
file you find in there. Post the output of that file in the forum. -

@Paisano87 You seem to have enough GPU memory, which is a good thing. Check your VRAM Limit setting in Emulationstation and make sure you have more than 80 Mb allocated (try with 120Mb also). Restart Emulationstation after you change the settings and see if you get better results.
-
@mitu Where should I go to modify the VRAM changes? forgive for my ignorance ... thanks
-
@Paisano87 In the Emulationstation menus, activated by pressing
Start
. -
@mitu Another way yo chance this?, in my emulationstation menu don't show this!, Only save metadata on exit and parse gameslist only
-
@Paisano87 Then you might be using an older Emulationstation version - you can check your version at the bottom of the menu, after you press Start . What version are you using ?
-
@mitu Hi, I'm using version 2.01A
