Hi, I have seen a couple forum posts about setting up a hotkey to exit retro arch emulators. Like select + start = exit.

Can anyone guide me on how to do something similar in the mame4all emulator?

I like mame4all because I can program 1 controller board with enough buttons to be 2 players. Retro arch seems to block me from using player 1 controller for programming player 2 keys also.

I need make4all exit working to get it to save high scores.

      Thanks

I am bumping my own post due to no response in a day, I am not sure if this may break forum rules but will add to the questions. If I cannot program a mame4all exit from a combination of keys, does anyone know if I can program libretro-mame2003 to all 1 controller to be the inputs for player 1 and player 2?

Follow that and you are more likely to get help.

If you mean the standalone mame4all emulator, it can't exit with a combination. but lr-imame4all can as it's a libretro core.

I wouldn't use that emulator though - I would use lr-mame2003 - depending what hardware you are on (I have no idea - you provided no info).

Not sure about one gamepad controlling both players (for games that expect two joypads).

@BuZz Thank you. I just realized I could configure this within the input configuration of mame4all. I was working too late last night I think.
