      Hi,
      I use retropie with OSMC.
Yesterday, OSMC was upgraded with kodi 17. I tested it and OSMC and Retropie work perfectly.

Then, I decided to upgrade retropie, and its when Retropie problems began. I don't know its last version, (I guess one o two month). Now if i get this error with emulationstation:

      pure virtual method called
terminate called without an active exception
      Aborted

I try to purge and reinstall retropie without sucess. My system:

i Model or other hardware: Pi3
      Power supply: Aukru 3A
      RetroPie Version Used Latest
Built From: Retropie on top of OSMC
USB Devices connected: USB wireless keyboard
      Controller used: Playstation Remote Ccontroller

      Any idea?

@txutxifel this issue has been fixed. Sounds like you didnt update retropie-setup perhaps before installing? What's version of retropie-setup script? Please provide revision in brackets.

First, thanks for your quick answer.

I am no totally sure if the first time, I updated the script before updating, but I think so. Now, Retropie-setup is in 4.1.14 and I have updated all package sometimes.

Besides, I tried compiling emulation from source

Sorry, but I have no idea what you mean with "Please provide revision in brackets", my english is no good

          .

@txutxifel On the latest retropie-setup when installing on OSMC, emulationstation should only build from source - the revision is the alpha numeric string in brackets in retropie-setup where the version is and the last commit.

              Thanks again for answering.

I am not sure why emulationstation failed, but I finally I did a fresh install (OSMC+ retropie). Now, both work perfectly.

              Cheers!!!

@txutxifel you had probably installed / updated before I put the fix in place.
