      @sadtraxx I wouldn't know much about that icon, as I've set it up about a year ago, but I'd refer you to these:

      https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Transferring-Roms

      https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Running-ROMs-from-a-USB-drive

      Depending on what you're trying to do.

      I've personally been running then off a USB stick, based on the manual method described in the second link, as at the time there was no automated method.

      Works like a charm.

        @pjft tried the automatic mount option for using rom from USB link, tried to update retropie setup script and get

        fatal: unable to access 'https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup.git': Could not resolve host: github.com

        :(

            @sadtraxx

            Do it this way, After you use SDFormat download and place PINNS onto your SD Card

            https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=142574 go there

            Download PINNS LITE (on bottom of post or click this link http://sourceforge.net/projects/pinn/files/pinn-lite.zip)

            Extract it to your SD card

            Place SD card into raspberry pi.

            Install RetroPie on the list, and whatever else you want.

            After installed, it'll run retropie, and boom youre all set.

                @dankcushions thanks everyone for your help, I have progressed to the next stage it seems.... I now have FBA on my Pi, but when I click on the romset in FBA it gives me a load screen for 5 seconds, and then comes back to the FBA screen... any tips?

                  @sadtraxx You probably have the wrong romset, but there's a good way to troubleshoot that:

                  Get us the content of /dev/shm/runcommand.log. It should state what the problem is.

                  But likely you have the wrong romset for the emulator you're trying to use.

                    @pjft OK here we go:

                    /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/bin/retroarch -L /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-fbalpha/fbalpha_libretro.so --config /opt/retropie/configs/fba/retroarch.cfg "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/fba/fba029739SplitArcadeOnly_201612.zip" --appendconfig /dev/shm/retroarch.cfg

                      you are not loading a game. looks like you're attempting to load the entire zipped romset? you need to have in your fba folder the xmvsf.zip file.

                        @dankcushions hmmm... ok, I'm confused. I was previously told not to unzip the romset, how do I get the xmvsf.zip file into the fba folder from the zipped romset?

                          @dankcushions oh I think I see, I unzip the romset and then keep the zipped roms unzipped in the fba folder???

                            @sadtraxx What they meant was that you don't unzip the roms themselves, maybe there was some miscommunication.

                            The files you're expected to have in the folder must match these:
