@clyde Hi, thank you for responding. I am going to buy a new pi and then carefully read the documents you shared to fix my current pi for another project. Thanks again.

Try changing the video driver in retroarch to vulkan or glcore (working for me). The gl implementation is currently busted but you can try the workaround: https://docs.libretro.com/library/dolphin/

There is also currently a bug with this core and the GL driver that can be worked around by going to settings > user interface > show advanced settings ON and then going to settings > core > allow cores to change the video driver OFF.
The Dolphin core will now work without issues.

      Pi Model or other hardware: (B, B+, 2 B, 3, X86 PC etc..)
Power Supply used: (If using a Pi)
RetroPie Version Used (3.6, 3.8.1, 4.01 etc.. - do not write latest):
Built From: (Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website, Berryboot, or on top of existing OS etc.. - please provide the filename of any image used)
      USB Devices connected:
      Controller used:
      Error messages received:
Log found in /dev/shm/runcommand.log (if relevant):
Guide used: (Mention if you followed a guide)
File: (File with issue - with FULL path)
Emulator: (Name of emulator - if applicable)
Attachment of config files: (PLEASE USE PASTEBIN.COM FOR LARGE LOGS)
      How to replicate the problem:

I'm not lecturing you, I'm telling you to give us the information as listed in the terms and conditions of signing up to the forum. Without all of the information it makes it much much harder for people to help as RetroPie can be built in multiple ways on multiple hardware with many custom tweaks.

I was blunt with you so you could provide the information quicker and allow the forum members to try and help you.

@jonesyp it's already fixed if you update retropie-setup and reinstall vice. (or just do update all packages).
