      Hello All.

Forgive me if this isn't the correct forum to be posting in, I'm just not sure where to turn.

Let me preface by saying that I am building a homemade arcade cabinet and I need some assistance with the setup and config of my Retropie. (please be patient as I am still very new to this with very little coding experience, but I am tech savvy).

Ultimately, I would like for the Retro pie to boot directly and load to one specific rom during the initial start-up to make it appear as if it was made specifically for that game (my intentions are to have the cabinet act as a console that runs daphne, nes, and GBA emulators).

But getting Daphne to recognize my game pad is an issue. I had it isolated to that every button worked as programed through EmulationStation, except for the "UP" command. The NES and GBA emulators worked perfectly, like i said before, it was just the "UP" that didn't work through Daphne. But now I've backpedaled to a point where none of my Inputs work for Daphne.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it helps at all, I will provide a link to the gamepad that I using. I will also preface, that I have my joystick wired to Buttons :0,1,2,3 for UP, DOWN,LEFT, RIGHT instead of using the 4 axis slots (if my way of thinking should be reversed, no problem.) Also, excluding the Joystick, I have 5 Buttons that will also be in use. (START which is under Button 7, SELECT which is under Button 6, HOTKEY which is under Button 8, A which is under Button 5, and B which is under Button 4) [link text]https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XHRIKLE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1(link url)

      Thanks in advance!
