      Hi,

I'm a greenhorn concerning DosBox and Retropie. I want to run Lands of Lore CD in Dosbox. There is a folder lol-cd. In lol-cd are the folders eng, fre, ger, harddrive and some files in root.

I mount the Hardrive Folder as c: and the whole lol-cd-folder as cdrom d:

When I start the game I always get an error message, that I have to put in a CD in drive d:

I tried different labels, but I found lol-cd to be correct.

      Any suggestions?

@10vorne You can use ScummVM for Lands of Lore. It's also a lot more straightforward to set up the CD version. More info on setting up ScummVM at: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/ScummVM/.

You can find the data files you need for Lands of Lore at: http://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php/Datafiles#Lands_of_Lore:_The_Throne_of_Chaos

@dudleydes Thanks for that. I'll try that later. Do I have to put the data file from the scummvm-website simply in to the Lands of Lore Game folder?

@10vorne You can place the complete game folder in the scummvm folder and then add the game using the ScummVM GUI as described in the Docs.

@dudleydes But what about the data files you talked about?

@10vorne scummvm doesnt host data files, they just tell you which files it needs to run, so if the files you have reflect those, throw them in the scummvm rom folder (I usually keep games in their own subfolders) then launch it from the scummvm gui
