There's a very strange thing happening with Pole Position and Pole Position 2 with lr-mame2000 and lr-mame2003.

I can't figure out why the accelerator button does not work with the regular keys assigned by RA. Strangely enough, the only way to use the "pedal" is to press Ctrl on a connected keyboard!

However, all the other keys (D-pad) seem to work fine. I truly don't remember this happening in the past. Is it something new or am I going insane? :p

Edit: for now I managed to fix this by "hard-setting" the controls by pressing the Tab key and entering the MAME menu... but this shouldn't be normal. I remember playing Pole Position on my Pi without any issues in the past

Please note that this is a brand new setup on a Pi 3B+ with the latest builds of all software.

Edit 2: same issue with Space Duel on the select screen (I had to press 2 on the keyboard). Some games appear to have broken controls on RetroArch that need to be fixed via the MAME menu instead of RGUI

@matchaman I can't say about past, but I had also trouble to configure it and had to delete the game. Couldn't find a way to play it with arcade stick.

To me Pole Position I and II both work fine with lr-mame2003.
          Check configuration here.
