Retropie keeps crashing and restarting with SNES

Hi together,

I have a weird problem with my Raspberrry Pi 3 B+ with the newest Version of Retropie.

Its with a fan and heatsinks.

When I am playing a SNES game it keeps after some time freezing or makes a restart.

It hapens after variable time.

I cant do anything.

The power supply should be enough -> Model: HN-5258 / Input: 100-240V AC 50 and 60 Hz - 5V / 2500mA

The controllers are with cable connected.

I have also tried the 3 different emulators -> everytime the same problem.

Do you know what's the problem?

are you running an overclock?

what case?

generally, any sort of crashing or freeze implies insufficient power, and/or an unstable overclock. using a case with its own power board (eg, NES Pi case) can cause these kind of issues.

often the ones with seperate cables do not have a good enough cable for stable power. do you have any other USB cables you can try?

The Raspberry Pi keeps freezing.

Now after maybe 10 Min?

@park757 try the official PSU as recommended. One without an in-line switch.
