Built my first full size arcade machine.
-
Hi all.
This is my first post on your forum but I have been using this site for a couple of months now because I decided to build my first arcade machine. The idea came from the fact a work colleague had purchased one and then one day I upgraded my daughters TV from a 24" to a 32" and so I ended up having the spare 24" and I also had a raspberry Pi laying around so I decided to give it a go.
I completely cut shaped and built the cabinet from scratch, now I have never done any sort of wood work like this before and bought all the tools purely for this build (apart from my impact driver set) so I had to learn it all as I went along. Now I know there are some areas that could have been done better and that I would have gone down another route to complete but as I say I was learning as I went along so.
Please click on the link below to go through the pictures and videos that I took during the build process. I started the job early feb 2020 and got to the stage I am at mid to late March. It is not completely finished yet as I still need to do the material grill by the kick plate which houses the sub-woofer, the top panel above the Marquee and the couple of service doors at the rear.

Thank you for your time.

Nice job man! Definitely an upgrade from the cardboard box! =D
Very clean and I'd digging the shallow depth.
