Hi all. I'm looking at starting an Arcade 1up conversion for my Dad. I've never touched RaspberryPi but I'm decently savvy with computers and Linux and found a lot of tutorials.

The main thing I need to do is ensure that when I deliver it. That it can survive on its own next to indefinitely. I live several hours away and won't be able to service the system often for him.

I'm trying to decide on hardware and saw that pi4 is recommended, but has heating concerns. While that can be abated with fans. I wanted to keep it as simple as possible.

If all he wants to play are things like Sinistar, Robotron, Galaga on I guess MAME and Dragons Lair 1,2 and Space Ace on Daphne, would a pi3+ b. Be sufficient?

I'm still hunting down a list of titles from that era that he might have forgotten about, but that's an area I know nothing about. I don't think he'd want anything newer than NES based on passing
      conversations.

Are there other things I should consider for a system that would have no one to support it?
