lr-pcsx-rearmed wavy lines problem on retropie pi 3
-
Hello guys, i'm trying to play as good as possibile the Spiderman game for psx, on my retropie pi 3.
It's playing really smooth, but as you can see in the picture, i have a little rendering problem: straight lines appear often wavy.
I'm using lr-pcsx-rearmed emulator.I would like to fix this wavy problem.
Any suggestion? Thanks! -
@Chuck_B that's accurate psx emulation. there are open gl plugins that "correct" this, but not for emulators that run on the pi.

@Chuck_B that's just how ps1 games are with its non perfect pixel math and lack of zbuffer
-
@lostless is there any way to fix that on raspberry pi?
-
@Chuck_B no, it requires quite of bit of power to pretty much ignore all the emulated ps1 rendering code and interrupt it to have it rerendred correctly. The pi just doesn't have the power.
It is possible on PC using a new plugin in the beetle ps1 emulator.
