    @Spyderturbo007 The Steam link and subsequent downloads will not let you play Dragon's Lair via Daphne on a Raspberry Pi.

    You need a DVD-Video disc, (note, this is NOT DVD-ROM). You can read this Daphne Emulator wiki page, and read it carefully, as it explains exactly what DVD you should buy.

    The important thing to remember is that the Daphne Loader which runs on PC and Mac is really what you need to get running first, then, and only then, can you transfer the working media files over to the Raspberry Pi. It's just not an easy emulator to get working because it requires these steps via PC/Mac.

    @Andrewpk200 I have per rom .cfg files for most games too, but I find it's easier for many of them to remap using the name GUI. Since I use the arcade folder, I also have FBA games mixed in, so for those in particular I have to use .cfg files. They are a mix of neogeo and fighter games, so, like your setup, the keys are incompatible.

    Are you going into wifi setup in the retropie settings tab or what way are you trying to connect?

    @JeanDeff
    Hi

    As Buzz mentioned above its not a good idea as it can corrupt your SD card. I have a weather station that runs continuously that has suffered several power cuts and hasn't corrupted but a colleague at work who has the same setup gets a corrupted card every time.

    It would appear some SD cards are better than others and if it helps the one in my weather station is a transcend one and has been in use for four years.

    Cheers

    I'll have to give that a shot. Ultimately, I want to create my own menu addition similar to the 'Arcade' folder specifically for homebrew and special interest titles where a variety of emulators can be chosen.

    @riddle43

    I'm not able to try it at the moment, but it's likely that you'll need to configure the sensitivity of the emulated analog controls from the 'Tab' menu.

    Well I answered my own damn question with the easiest of solutions!! LOL

    I'll leave this dumb post up for anyone else yanking their hair out in the same situation.

    I had all 3 controllers plugged into my Pi. NES, SNES & Genesis....Unplug all but Genesis. That's it. Genesis controller seems to need to be alone on port #0. Once I did that, in-game it worked smooth as anything.

    Now to figure out why my Sonic rom has a little dude in a robot ship instead of Sonic on the screen! WTF lolol

    Best is subjective... I would go with PS3 just because I like them more. And I believe you need the wireless reliever plugged into your RPi for 360 controllers. PS3 can use the Bluetooth built in to the RPi.

    PS3 controller was setup on like day 1 of owning my RPi and I have yet to have any issues. I can't speak for 360 controller.

    Great Question, I was using the Mame4All Emulator, I swapped it out for the Mame-lr and the 2nd player appears to be working just as it does in the FBA emulator. The only issue is now Mame-lr uses the D-Pad instead of the Analog Stick, so will need to look into manually changing that configuration.
