Have you tried adding the configuration overrides in

?I just tried I found it in /opt/retropie/configs/n64

But the games are still booting up with the default settings these are all the settings in mupen64plus.cfg

I'm assuming the checksum isn't matching correctly but I'm not sure how to get the checksum

It was the incorrect checksum I deleted everything in the RiceVideoLinux and the checksum of the current rom showed up. Adding this didn't result in any changes though. I'm not sure if I'm typing it incorrectly or if it's simply just not going to work.

I'm just trying to think of a way to have Mario Kart 64 and Super Mario 64 in it's own path to a separate mupen64plus.cfg. I tried to duplicate another config folder but I can't get the core to redirect to it. It still just loads /opt/retropie/configs/n64. Maybe if I duplicate the core? But at that time I'm just thinking this is more trouble than it's worth HAHA!
I made a rom folder called n64-2 config folder called n64-2 and changed my es_systems.cfg and added N64 Widescreen with <command>/opt/retropie/supplementary/runcommand/runcommand.sh 0 SYS n64-2 %ROM%</command> to see if that would load the 2nd config folder with the edited mupen64plus.cfg. Still just loaded /opt/retropie/configs/n64 instead of /opt/retropie/configs/n64-2. hahahah oh man well I tried
