MAME ROW #36 - DonPachi

Didn't get my vote in in time, but Donpachi is a classic.

Bettered only by Ikaruga in my opinion, with it's novel black/white polarity game mechanic.

Look forward to giving this one a go.

I don't think I've ever played DonPachi but I have played DoDonPachi (which I believe is a sequel). I've heard that this game gets pretty hard!

I had the chance to play a single attempt yesterday and only managed to scrape by some 190k or so as well, so didn't get the chance to enter my score as well. Also didn't think I would have taken a screenshot after seeing your scores :)
