      @mburry83

      the way it says in the docs might not work anymore, i had to add it to grub or it would not accept it:

      GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash usbhid.quirks=0x16c0:0x05e1:0x040"

      @Ohris what usb encoders are you using? because depending on what port you plug in controllers, decides the player number

      Port 0 has has highest priority for player 1

      @edmaul69 said in Arcade with Two PS1 Controllers:

      @aznag look for @meleu’s joystick selection. It allows you to do whatever you want with all of your plugged in joysticks

      Thansk @edmaul69. I will check it out.

      Yes.
      the board with white connectors is for 90% sure is a Dragonrise Inc USB encoder. It hase kinda little delay for my tastes...
      Working like a charm from Retropie 4.0 and above straight from initial flashing.
      Done two cabinets with this set.

      Ok, managed to get all my controls on the correct sides, only issue I have now is I cannot have start and select working on both player 1 and 2. This also causes me not to be able to exit a game back to the main menu by pressing start and select. Any ideas ?
