      @duglor In the RetroPie docs you will find all the necessary info about the bios files of openmsx: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/MSX/

      The only you have to do is to choose the emulator from the runcommand menu.

      @SpudsMcToole backup sdcard. Backup then restore configs and roms on new image.

      If you don't want to do this, unfortunately you won't be able to install some emulators.

      @Efriim said in SDL2 and OpenMSX:

      How do I install libSDL2_ttf? What other problems do I face that the libraries are not found? What happened to them?

      The libsdl-ttf2.0 package is installed automatically as a dependency for OpenMSX . You probably removed manually, outside of the RetroPie-Setup script.

      @PeterNL070

      Also, you may have some luck using the DSK2ROM utility for conversion.

      @vindicator

      These links should help:
      http://openmsx.org/manual/user.html#diskimages
      http://openmsx.org/manual/user.html#tape

      Just make sure you're running authentic MSX1/2 BIOS files, as the included BIOS doesn't support disks and tapes.
