      @Lolonois

      Okay. See that's where my lack of knowledge becomes difficult/dangerous. I was hoping that the GPIO logic would be able to simply read the difference between two pins being (shorted?) or not and code would have been able to just assign parameters to what to control in each circumstance without all the extra circuitry.

      Hmmm.

      @cnoto For the ONOFFSHIM I used the default setup, proposed by Pimoroni. For the complete powercut you either need a systemd file or you set a dtoverlay to /boot/config.txt

      You can take a look here to this tutorial

      @cyperghost got it. I am attempting to change my setup from a nespi case to an onoffshim with a non momentary switch. I used your instructions, to setup the onoffshim, but the system cuts power as soon as i press the button to initiate the shutdown script. (No 3 blinks, just off).

      Could the original install of the raspi-gpio for the nespi case impacting things?

      Can you post the output of the quick installation commands from https://github.com/petrockblog/ControlBlockService2#quick-installation here, please?
      There is also a video that shows the "good case" installation.

      @steptoe I have seen builds of people having their outlets built into their machines but they never really show how it is really done which is what i would like to do with this as well but the thing is i need 2 USB ports on it as well for the Pi and for a 120mm fan i plan on installing and of course one of the plugs i would be using for the monitor.
      The other thing is i need something like the first link you showed which i can never really find a proper tutorial on how to set that up cause that is something i plan on doing also.
      Oh ya and also my build will be slightly different with the option of the arcade stick being pulled out from the machines because my stick i am still trying to build is a USB one and plan on putting a 4 USB hub in it so it would be easier to hook up other controllers/joysticks.
