(RetroPie X86) How to change global lr- emulator volume?
-
Using the volume setting in the EmulationStation main menu changes the global system volume, which isn't what I want as it also lowers the volume of whatever I'm running on my second monitor (I'm using RetroPie on my daily use/main gaming PC). Changing the volume in the RetroArch settings gives the desired effect, but trying to change it in the main RetroArch configuration (through the setup menu) doesn't seem to work (the change is only reflected in that particular menu, not when I'm running an emulator). The volume setting isn't present in the Configuration Editor, so I can't change it there. The only thing that seems to work is manually changing it from within RGUI every time I play a game, which isn't really ideal. Is there any way to get the setting in /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg to actually apply to all lr- emulators?

They should apply to all
lr-
emulators. Unless you've used 'Save Configuration' for one of them, in which case they won't, since that would break the inclusion of said.cfg
file - see https://retropie.org.uk/docs/RetroArch-Configuration/#config-hierarchy.
