I have the translated Clocktower working fine on my system. Just for the heck of it, will it show up if you rename it to a .sfc file (that's how mine is) and then restart EmulationStation?

I had this exact issue yesterday with RP3 and all updates for Rasp and retropie.

I had to chmod +x all .sh files for each game under ports for it to work, also in the cfg file Quake III didn't look the same as all the other games, so i changed it to suit.

I don't have access right now to check exactly what I changed it to.

Thought I'd post an update here. Super stoked its all going first pop after re-installing and doing everything as before EXCEPT updating packages. This time I'll be sure to clone my SD frequently before any major changes. Thanks for all the help fellas!

some cheats wont work youll have to go through lists for particular game and find ones that work and search for more codes noticed theres an input feature for this. For sonic the hedgehog start with 99 lives cheat worked fine, the first infinite lives cheat didn't but the next one in list did.

@BuZz Oh my god I very much apologizing for wasting your time. I kept getting confused with the 1 and 2. I now understand that I had the wrong model all along and will keep that in mind. I am not all that knowledgeable in it because I use it infrequently. I do thank you for the support and will remember to use this forum if I need information in the future.

OK, despite numerous current postings to the contrary on this subject, the udevRUN+="/path/to/executable" function has been deprecated at some point in favor of other, more reliable methods.

Both techniques make use of a daemon as you mentioned, but they can still be controlled with a modified udev rule that will launch the daemon when a specified device is added or removed. They require a little more work, but hopefully at least one of them will bear fruit.

I haven't spent much time on this, so am curious to your thoughts. I use an HD HomeRun Prime right now with the official Kodi HomeRun prime addon (not sure the exact name) on my retropie setup. This works flawlessly for me for live tv and can find in Kodi video addons... I have not setup or even tried the PVR functionality yet. I assume by your post that the official HomeRun addon does not have PVR functions and that's why you want to use the unofficial? At work, so no way for me to check right now.

I think I got it.. I went in and made some settings changes and saved them on my profile. I noticed it happening only when I sign in, so I figured it was account related.

yes done script & retropie setup. still no reicast-audio-omx.
