    My Attempt at Trying To Install An ISO on Dosbox

    Then i Came to a Halt

    last picture don't know what to do from here ..

    after i installed it & Exited the game , i dont know how to restart the game.

    After The Game was playing for the first time (after installation)

    • I Exited The Game

    • I Then Did a Restart of Emulationstation (Retropie)

    • I Went to Ms Dos and the 2 options appear (+START DOSBOX & MADDOG)

    -I Click on Maddog

    then it brought me to the page (you see in the last picture)

    Please Help ?

            i got the it on a atuoexec.bat

            MOUNT -u C
            MOUNT C /media/usb0/roms/pcwin/MADDOGMC
            IMGMOUNT D /media/usb0/roms/pcwin/MADDOGMC/CD/MADDOG.ISO -t iso
            c:
            cd MadDog > NUL
            cls
            maddog
            exit

            change the names for the directory and see that u got the cd iso with that

              Any Chance you can change the Directorys to fit my pi ... it didnt work for me when i tried

              my results were the same page as the last picture .

              or anyway you could make me .bat file ....

                here u go change your file to that -

                [autoexec]

                MOUNT C /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/pc/MADDOGMC
                IMGMOUNT D /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/pc/MADDOGMC/CD/MADDOG.ISO -t iso
                c:
                cd MadDog > NUL
                cls
                maddog
                exit

                Just put your MADDOG folder in that name folder in the pc folder .
                pc/MADDOGMC/MADDOG
                and cd iso image in a folder -
                pc/MADDOGMC/CD/MADDOG.ISO
                .
                pay attention all the names need to be the same (with big letters)
                or u can change it.

                        I guess the only Problem now is i am not getting any sound or volume

                        Any Tips or Suggesting ?

                        i also have a freeze up regarding the sound issue

                        hows everything on your end , did you have sound issues ?

                            Thank you , very nice words from you ... yeahh its great to finally get it to work .... i like this version alot since dos is where i played this game as a young lad

                            yeah no sound for me ... im going to see if i can reinstall and take a picture of the sound settings ? maby you can recoomend me a settings for soundblaster ?

                                check another msdos game , u have sound with it ?

                                and i have a *.sh fie that ruining the config of that before like that -
                                maddogmc.sh (in just the PC FOLDER)

                                try add this files with the data inside , and run the *.sh file.
                                hope it will make it work ;)

                                      yeah i relized i didnt have sound in any other game ..

                                      i only have

                                      psx games

                                      mame games

                                      3 dosbox games

                                      (all light gun games for those 3 consoles )

                                      then i went to the audio setting in Retropie and selected default ...

                                      i got my sound back in all games , except dosbox (no audio or sound )

                                      i dont know if its my set up but all the audio is either choppy or cracking

                                      but dosbox ... no sound at all

                                      i installed

                                      mad dog 1

                                      mad dog 2

                                      who shot johnny rock

                                      • no sound in the dosbox games

                                      • choppy sounds psx games

                                      • cracking sounds in the mame games

                                      any suggestings ... do you need me to pull up any logs or something so you can see or any pictures of anything ?
