      @bleckman said in stephen selph's Scraper Error Hash not found, emptry Picture boxes:

      I updated but now It won't auto-log in
      I have to do it every time I restart the REtropie

      That happens a lot after updates - here you go =>

      @Norstein For the PBP scraping, I think there is already an issue opened (see https://github.com/sselph/scraper/issues/90). You could try using Skyscraper, it can search by name only and I think it works with PBP files.

      Please do not post a support request without first reading and following the advice in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first

      Asking for help without even trying to look this up or understanding what this means, results in more work for others, even if some awesome members already put work into a clear explanation, is bad (I guess)... Looking your "problem" up in the docuentations/wikis/github pages (or even on google) would have given you the right answer...

      However:
      This isn't an error... It just means that the scraper could not found the name of the rom (or in this case the hash of it) in the metadata/image database! This basicly means that there is no metadata/image for this game.
      You might be able to "solve" this by using another database

      @Xanathar Awesome!

      When I first started with Retropie thegamesdb.net went down for a day... then a couple days... then a week. Turns out their hosting service cut them off for excessive sessions without any warnings so they have to raise enough $$ to pay for a dedicated servers.

      The service does go down from time to time as well, so it's not uncommon to see what you are seeing. That's part of why I still scrape from the command line: scraper -append -thumbs_only once you are in the correct roms directory will update any new roms in that directory.
