      @madmodder123
      CRT's are definitely worth checking out. I've spent $25 total for the thriftstore Trinitron and composite cables for the pi. Right now, it's in the parlor room "for the holidays" (AKA I don't want to wrestle it up the stairs just yet!)

      (even Kodi works, with some effort)

      @rig I believe all of them can be changed in the RetroArch menu. You do need to save them for turn to be applied when you restart RetroPie, so depending on your setup you may want to go straight to the config files for that after you're happy with the results.

      Does this mean that they wont be applied unless you save and restart? Or do they apply instantly but get reset if not saved? Sorry if it's a stupid question.

      I believe that the changes are applied immediately but as soon as you exit the game/retroarch you lose the changes unless you save them. You can verify this by making changes, exiting the menu and the reentering the menu and checking to see if your changes are still there.

      @Molhoy Yeah, the display looks great. I'm glad I made the extra effort to center it. Now I can get back to gaming. I been playing games I always wanted as a kid but couldn't get because they were arcade, or on an obscure system. I'm playing aliens vs predator for arcade right now and shining force for sega cd

      Great, many thanks for the answer! :D I am going to hook up my RPi with HDMI -> VGA and VGA -> Scart so I got scared as I already ordered proper adapters and haven't even thought about it :P
      I will try to give some update as soon as I got some time to test it (it would need additional RPi settings to be changed so probably it will take me some time).
