Any idea why Steven Selph's scraper takes so long to scrape at times?

In case anyone in this thread is interested, I just released v2.1.0 of RetroPie Convert Videos.

Hoe do you run Steven Selph's Scraper?

Notice that there's capital letters in the directory. The "P" in RetroPie-Setup always gets me.

@retronoobie3000 I can confirm this to work. I had my retropie gamelist.xml get wiped somehow and attempted to update the package via RetroPie-Setup. A bunch of errors showed that the xml was empty. I then removed and reinstalled the menu package and that repopulated my xml file just fine. Everything is working now.

Hi @mediamogul @herb_fargus @wmodes ! Since I've had so much help from everyone on this site getting my own Pie setup, I wanted to go ahead and share my zmachine gamelist along with scraped data that's mostly complete as far as I know.

Obviously goes without saying this doesn't include the actual roms, but if you have your own should be fairly easy to get stuff in the right place. Let me know if anyone has thoughts on improvements. Thought about videos for example, but seems like overkill given that it's a text based game ;)

I would think that ES has to be looking for the game art in the wrong place.

I had the same problem on a pi zero running the 4.1 image from the retropie website and using sselph scraper. I would have the same problem even after starting with a fresh image and re-adding roms. This would only occur with NES.
I could see the game art in the downloaded images folder, the meta-data would display in the ES game list, but no art in the ES game list.

The only thing I could finally find was that a gamelist.xml had some how gotten placed in my NES roms folder. Once I removed this I started back from scratch, used sselph scraper, and everything worked as should.
