there's a bunch of new clones etc added so there will be a new dat. also, some existing Roms may have changed as it's been synced with a newer version with mame.

I didn't update my set when .37 came out as there's wasn't anything I cared about and I won't do now. older sets should be fine for the most part.

@sselph You could utilize the autosave_interval setting in retroarch.cfg for situations like that. Retroarch will periodically write the save data to your .srm file according to what you set, so you would be safe in the event of a crash or power loss.

Unless things have changed I think all of the current authorized resellers still have a 1 per customer limit. I don't think that all the zeros are being snapped up by ebay scalpers.

What I think is that these resellers are the actual scalpers, by only offering very, very few of the $5 zeros, with the bulk of their stock being sold as part of a padded "package".

Those packs will be in stock for quite a few days, and then sell out to those who'll give in and overpay for yet another set of hdmi adapters, cables, sdcards, power supplys and header strips, so they can get their hands on an actual zero.

it works fine for me, even running the enhanced resolution mode. i'm using a USA PSP eboot, if that makes a difference. you are running the enhanced resolution speed hack as well, right?
