    @Unadan

    I've never been able to figure out where lr-mame2010 puts its 'cfg' folder. Based on @UDb23's findings here, you might simply be able to find it in ~/.

    @F117 It may well work on Windows 7 but we are not using a Windows OS or the pcsxr emulator!?!!? RetroPie provides 3 choices as detailed

    . In order to help further, you will need to provide more information about your setup according to this:

    @BuZz Oooooh, yeah, I was thinking overscan_scale was a proportional scale, which didn't work for me. I'll uncomment the line tomorrow when I get back to it.

    Yes, all my values are negative. I was originally having an issue where with overscan on, there was still a black border around the whole image. Negative values let me adjust the overscan so it was appropriate. The comment left in the configuration file by the dev told me to do it. If it was indeed an exploited bug, then maybe it's just ignoring the negative and treating it as positive. Lol. Aspect ratio is 3:2 on everything as well.

    @Hydro said in Ri3 - Killer Instinct 2 & SNK vs. CAPCOM Chaos Plus Not Woking On AdvMame 1.4 & 0.94.:

    can't find any advmame-1.4 (0.106) - CHD v3 !

    Yeah, quite honestly, I've never run into older CHD versions than whatever the currently available set version is at the time. It's likely due to them being so large that there's not any good reason to keep them available. At first thought, you might consider them valuable for use in lower-powered devices like the Raspberry Pi that require older versions of MAME to run at full speed, but the catch-22 is that the Raspberry Pi and devices like it aren't powerful enough to run the CHD-based games to begin with.

    Two things of interest to add. First, in searching for more information on this issue, I discovered that the Daphne source was patched for use in RetroPie by forum/team member @shmoopty, and I thought it might help to tag his name in this posting. Second is a listing of the daphne_log_txt from just after running a game with this problem. Again I chose to use 'Us vs. Them' as an example. The lines that read MACH3 NOTE: CPU #1 queried 0x8000 even though nothing is available seem to be reporting the problem as this represents each time I pressed a button that would normally trigger a sound.

    Also, on that screen, if you plug in a known controller, it should exit (might need to hold a button down)

    I got it, thanks for the help. As a note, if you open the .XML you want to clear and edit it by deleting its contents and saving, the scrape data clears from EmulationStation. But the system still looks for it, so upon exiting or shutting down, you will get a message saying "Cannot find Gamelist" probably as it tries to regenerate it. So yes, I exited ES back to the console and THEN deleted the .XML totally. Restarted, confirmed no scrape data in Arcade, then shut down, and confirmed no more message.

    on't have to go through the trouble of re-coding my control settings and re-scrape my games. Let me know, I'm not sure w

    Your main retroarch.cfg which can be found in:

    /opt/retropie/configs/all/

    Or if you have a windows computer just enter the following path into windows explorer and you should be into the config folder:

    \RETROPIE\configs\all

    I also would copy the config files of my controllers. They are located in the /retroarch-joypads/ folder which is located in the path I mentioned above. Saved me a ton of headache lol.
