Ok, the 5.15.? Kernel didn't work well. I had some screen dropouts again.
I then tried 5.10.60, which still had the screen tearing issue in Exult. After that I installed 5.10.64, which eliminates the screen tearing. So one of the commits between those versions fixed that. I will test this kernel further in the coming days and report back.

Sounds like a bad sdcard.

You (and everyone who experiences this) have updated every single package from source, while having too many things installed. It literally takes ages to compile everything. Just update via binaries next time :)

@BuZz I'm having the same problem, could this be the reason I cannot add the Bluetooth sources and drivers because the files need to unpack?

@meleu reset command didn't change anything on my display. still a black screen..
