      @alaskajohn I have created a file and placed it in the folder .rom so each file appears as if it is a game e.g. 80s 902 etc.It's been a while since I've made it, if it's difficult for you, I can look something up, I'll remember it too, if you manage the internet radio, I'd be interested.

      Every time I power on the arcade cabinet it plays a random track from about eight (while in EmulationStation).

      @itsnitro It is indeed - I recognize it from my RetroPie starting video :D

      I am personally inclined to every now and then listen to more metal or rock versions of videogame music.

      In case that's your thing, this gentleman is worth looking into:

      Even if it's not, but you can at least appreciate it, then do have a listen/watch. This is a 17-min medley of video game music history!

      that link here was very helpful:

      https://github.com/libretro/libretro-fceumm/blob/a8fcbf1410aeccb9c29907874a5ed33cfda87ed9/src/ines.c#L797-L802

      I guess lr-nestopia handles it the same way fceumm does on the retropie (checking for file name and then setting region).

      Is there any way to find something similar about pocketsnes and the snes emulator on retropie, too?

      @michel30
      hello, I'm a noobie.
      But I have a question:
      Are you saying you have a code that will constantly play a mp3 file and play in the background and will continue to play while you do other things in the background
      using pygame?

      I got mine to play when i boot up the raspberry pi but, as soon as I do something like start my MAIN.py the mp3 stops playing: and I need it to KEEP PLAYING?
      Can you help?
      Thank you?
