@linbeg said in N64 mapping - everything works, but C up and down:

I’ve attached the Pork One mapping below ...

You perhaps forgot to include it. Also please take some time to describe your setup as asked in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first.

Try maybe adding the export command to $HOME/.bashrc.

That also worked from terminal but not from ES.

So what I think is happening is this: autostart.sh is called from /etc/profile.d/10-retropie.sh which runs as part of /etc/profile. Then once that's complete it calls .profile and .bashrc.

But since the environment var is set in autostart it is perhaps disconnected from the profile service and so maybe the variable is local only to that shell. So it works from inside ES but when I exit ES and the autostart shell terminates, the var goes away and it doesn't work from terminal.

When I set it in .profile or in .bashrc it works from terminal, but these aren't processed until after ES exits because that's part of autostart which happens while /etc/profile is still going on.

Moonlight does not find controller mapping for a controller

Solution: Posting this in case someone else runs into this problem.
Apparently the simple explanation is that Moonlight can only read one configuration file. So the solution was

copy the controller config strings of both controllers into one single .map file. in the global.conf set both controllers to use the same .map file (where all controller mappings are stored)

So my global.conf now looks like this:

      # global config file for moonlight input = /dev/input/event0 mapping = /home/pi/msigc302.map input = /dev/input/event1 mapping = /home/pi/msigc302.map quitappafter = true

      Hi,
my bartop is now finished and running, but still the (little) "problem" tp start the programs.

As written, some (ZS-Spectrum) Games need to press the "5" on the keyboard to start, others the "0" .

Is there an option to define the (phy.) 1P button to the "5" for Game-A, and for Game-B the 1P button to "0" ?
      So a game specific setting?

Or any other idea or hints here ?

      Thanks,
      Martin
