      @caver01
      I can't get it to start.
      I have tried multiple versions of the game but still cannot make it start.
      I run "floob-retropie-attractmode-v03-02-MAY-2016" image with NO updates because when updating I got switched and unusable controller buttons and stick problems.

      I will try to do a clean retropie v3.7 with emulationstation only build for raspberry pi 2 and see if everything works. But this will take some days.

      Thanx :-)

      @hamak I think a thread about spinner controls is a good idea. I am not familiar with the games you mentioned, but I can add some ideas and discussion points:

      Arcade games with spinners and trackballs work best in AdvanceMAME in my opinion, simply because you have complete control over the devices using the config file and sensitivity/speed adjustments can be made using the MAME GUI (and they get saved). I haven't had much luck in other versions of MAME. Atari 2600--Up until now, I hadn't given it much consideration, but I am curious if I can get spinners working for the Atari 2600. I am fairly certain I could make this work using AdvanceMAME (mess) but I'd like to get lr-Stella using spinners if possible.

      @challenger2010 said in Trackball or spinners in libretro emulators:

      Yes, confirmed. There are menu options for it in 2003, but it won't pick up any mouse movement when you try to change it. Hence, no trackball or spinner games will work properly. I would put this on the wish list for 2003 which just might make it the best emulator to use.

      :( if you want, you could log an issue here: https://github.com/libretro/mame2003-libretro/issues

      i'm not sure if it's an issue with libretro (the api), or mame itself. if it's the former, i think it's more likely to be fixed, but yeah!

      Off topic, any chance of getting 2003 updated from Mame 78 to 84? More game support, and is known as the last stable build for Mame.

      hmm, that would be tricky i think. perhaps if the source code is available somewhere we could see the differences.
