@sphirst That's why it isn't recording it then dude. I had a similar issue when editing some metadata on a couple of roms. Came back and my changes had reverted. A clean exit from emulationstation resolved it though.

I know this is an old topic but I could not find any more recent ones discussing this issue. I had the same issue with the Scraper failing to save resized image. The fix was to chown the /downloaded_images/ and /gamelists/ since some folders were root and not pi user.

Saw your edit - You can add it there if that works too (in which case it will actually be sending both parameters but if it takes the last that's fine).

@zigurana I use a different account name on the forum, @Koerty is just a placeholder so nobody take it. If you want an answer tag this account :)

@darknior I don't really follow what's going on on the forum, I will try to check it more in the future to collect more feedback.

But right now I'm busy disassembling and reassembling the grid view so RetroPie's main contributors can carrefully review each parts independently, so we get a strong and reliable code, battle tested and easy to upgrade/fix if something change in the future.

I planned to make a first public release once it is stable and mature enough for everyone to use it, but at this time it will be way less evolved than the one from Jacobfk20. So now, after seeing all of this messages about the grid view, I fear to have too much negative feedbacks even if more upgrade are planned for the future.

Really neat theme, Matt! Probably my favorite theme I've seen on RetroPie.

Is this a new/recent option in retropie?

It was a recent discovery for me too even though it's been around a while. It's a great feature if you have kids as they seem flip between emulator lists and get really confused about what's happening.

Go to retropie setup in retropie menu.
select the one that says something like (To be used post install)
Scroll down to I think its called Edit runncommnad....it will say something about runcommand.
      You can disable it there.
