I'm experiencing the same issue. The ".svg" file from your Custom theme in the ES Theme menu isn't being recognized. You can uninstall the custom theme, but you must choose a new one before proceeding with the uninstall. You shouldn't see this message when you boot into a Rom.

@cdaters You mean I can use png files also? And the naming, system.png instead of system.svg?

That’s correct. I took the controllers from your theme and put them above the systems, instead of the standard controller icon/image, that the Eudora theme has. I like them!

I have an image all set up for my RPi, but I recently got an odroid XU4 and am looking at porting as much custom esthetic as possible.
I do see that the RetroPie branch does not have the converted .cpp folder. Honestly this whole project for me is about learning how these systems work.

@jonnykesh "site:" is google's function to restrict results to a specific site.
And yes Google works great to search the forums, especially with multiple terms.

There are also other interesting google functions to refine searches.

@FlyingTomahawk If your PNGs are pixelated on the edges, you are likely using 8-bit PNG format, this uses a gif style indexed pallet and has no support for alpha blending. This is the default setting on photoshop/illustrator for save-for-web output. Make sure you are saving your PNGs as 24 bit to allow for alpha transparencies around the edge pixels, and the pixelated effect will be gone. Drawback is the file size will be 5 to 10x larger.
