Is there a config file where i can control the behaviour when starting raspi-config?

The RetroArch auto-configuration profile is used by joy2key to map gamepad buttons/inputs to keyboard keys and to control the dialog/text menus. I assume this is what you mean by controlling raspi-config , since raspi-config has no gamepad support by itself.

      stretch/main

Your OS (Debian 9/Stretch) is outdated and no longer supported; currently only Debian 10 (Buster) is supported and, unfortunately, cannot be upgraded in situ.

I suggest you to backup your roms and then install the current latest official image (currently 4.8) for your hardware from https://retropie.org.uk/download.

Then, flash the 4.8 image and restore your backed-up folders over the network share or by the method of your choice:

@tigtagle said in Rasp-Config not working:

I also used a wolfanoz image for arcade 1up and flashed that onto my card too.

3rd party images are not supported as they are often distributed with copywrited material and are basically impossible to troubleshoot.

@mitu Sorry for the late reply, gave both of these a shot and it still displayed a black screen on the RaspiConfig

I also just tried group 63 for 1080P with 120HZ and got the same result

      I recommend this image:

Guaranteed to work and you'll know how to fix things when they break.

@kingcrafty sounds like you didn't follow https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/First-Installation (Did you restart emulationstation ? Did you make sure the rom names are correct - check the wiki pages for the systems in question).
