@mitu said in Multiple USB Ports + Controller order for Emulators:

@retropied You can try looking at @meleu's handy joystick selection script - https://github.com/meleu/RetroPie-joystick-selection - and adapt it to automatically re-order the controllers based on the emulator started.

@mitu I installed the joystick selection script but I'm having a problem.
I have a system with two integrated controller (Dragonrise zero delay encoder) and I want to use a bluetooth gamepad for some games only. My target is to have bluetooth controller as number 1 controller when connected.
So I installed Joystick Selection Sricpt and setted Bluetooth controller as the first one and then the two dragon rise. The problem is that when the bluetooth controller is not connected the two dragonrise continue to act as player 2 and 3 and not as 1 and 2. Do you think it is possible to fix this whitout changing configuration everytime?

@michael40475 You could do the same way most people do here: burn a clean Retropie image into another SD Card, put into your RPi, put your games on it and enjoy.

I am very cautious as to go through the Configure pads because I struggled to have both my 360pad and my Arcade Stick working. Is there a place I can poke/text edit the Y as Favorites button?

      Thanx!

Hello, my friend, I'm from Brazil. I liked your bartop art, you do not sell photoshop files so I can do mine? Thank you. It's too pretty.

Hi @dondeivid2000 and welcome to the forums.

You need to complete the information requested in: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first

I would also ask, you say RetroPie 3, RetroPie 4.2 was the last major image release.

Can you detail how your controller is connected to the Pi?

Not really anything to do with your problem but those are not Sanwa buttons just that you know.
Most won't really care but if you are into arcade sticks or arcade machines then you'll know the quality differences.
There are no Sanwa buttons that look like that and I guess they'll feel different when pushed. Look it up on google, search for OBSF-30 and you'll see what i mean.
I myself own 2 self build arcade sticks and I bought Seimitsu and Sanwa buttons and sticks and they cost way more then that set price.
For 33 GBP you could probably get 10 buttons. Looking at the sellers info...no surprise, China.

Like I said not that most mind but once you have used quality stuff you won't get satisfied with that and it kinda angers me that they actually write Sanwa Push button in the title description.

I also wanted 4player functionality but I didn't want to mount 4 joysticks. So I made a 2 joystick machine and installed 2 USB inputs in the front of the cabinet for two others to play via a USB controller like a PS4 controller.

However your idea of 4 joysticks would be cool too. It depends if you want ball or batt style joysticks. For ball, the senwas are good. For batt, the happ.
