It's a pity there isn't a Sega CD and a Mega CD roms folder, like there is for Megadrive and Genesis. This would save people having to edit config files etc. if they are not comfortable doing so. Same could be said for PC Engine and Turbografx16.

Thanks for the useful info, I have a proper handle on it now. Seems like I really need to be looking at overclocking for it to work properly. I may have to give up on playing Goldeneye as I really don't want to overlclock my Pi.

Yes I am getting the same issues, just waiting on news about a fix.

Note that the internal bluetooth on the RPI3 currently has problems and will crash the system - there are at least 3 other threads about it and an upstream ticket here - https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/issues/1360

I did fix my ECDSA issue by deleting the know hosts file from my mac and setting up the root account on the pi.

yes it does.

your other option is to upgrade the stick's board to the newest revision. x-arcade.com has an upgrade board (in the x-adapters section, the usb upgrade) that no longer requires the numlock to work (uses the arrow keys instead of the numberpad keys). I had to upgrade my solo stick (oldest one didn't support usb) and that was one of the new features that I also got with it. It also doesn't require you to press the program button twice to enable a custom codeset (another nice feature)

Thanks alot for the guide, after a few tries I got it to work. Before I continue, do the files automatically go into your list? I set my folder to be /usbstorage2 instead of just /usbstorage.

Do I have to do anything to make the file appear? Like make a system folder.

Also, if I wanted everything to be in the same place, what would I create? (directory, etc.)

Would it be possible to install a program to intercept the input from the USB Controller and convert it into key presses? I did something very similar to this with Adafruit's PiGame but this converted GPIO inputs...

In addition to the above if I do run the ushid quirks fix. I can get it to recognize as two controls in emulation station and also running jstest.

However in that scenario the second joy stick just doesnt work in Retroarch to set it.

I have the same problem with SNES30 controller.
Select+L won't trigger load state, but L+Select does it.
For some reason every other hetkeys work in reverse order. For example B+Select will trigger reset.

Is this an issue with retropie/retroarch or the controller?
