@dnbarnes1983 Emulationstation is a general game launcher frontend - it's also used by Recalbox. You didn't specify in any of your posts you have RetroPie installed and which version.

@zombiefly Ahh, sorry to hear that. To be honest, the lack of options for fs-uae-launcher makes sense, given that the goal of is to get you quickly running the game with the optimal settings already pre-configured.

You might be able to roll your own command line that calls fs-uae directly - something along the lines of:

I've not tested it, but hopefully it gives you enough to have a play and get working.

@mediamogul That's what I thought too, but then he asked about it occurring only during running nes games made me think. Why only during nes games and not any other emulator ? Unless he is mimicking an nes classic. The OP didn't give much details.

@hockmiester Use a supported distro - Debian/Ubuntu (or an Ubuntu spin off like Xubuntu/Lubuntu) and try again to install RetroPie.

I had this issue where a left mouse click would freeze any game that had a panel overlay (the side art around the actual gameplay). Here was a thread about it. It looks like its fixed on the newest version of Retroarch 1.7.7.

@mitu I think that is in the end my only option, if I want a single Arcade menu option. I really wanted avoid this.
