      @sleve_mcdichael

      I have now added the following to the autostart.sh: (i use autostart-custom.sh)

      ## Get Amount of Games fgrep -c '</game>' /home/pi/.emulationstation/gamelists/*/gamelist.xml > /home/pi/RetroPie/systeminfo/totalgamestemp.txt grep -oP '(?<=:)[0-9]+' /home/pi/RetroPie/systeminfo/totalgamestemp.txt > /home/pi/RetroPie/systeminfo/totalgames.txt

      This will get the amount of </game> tags in all .xmls under gamelists and save it in a temptxt
      Then i grep only the numbers from each line and save those as totalgames.txt
      Lastly i sum all these numbers with the .bashrc

      Total Games changes in .bashrc

      6) out+="${fgred}Games Available....: ${fgylw}$(awk '{sum=sum+$1} END {print sum}' /home/pi/RetroPie/systeminfo/totalgames.txt)"

      Also made disk space checker faster by adding "/" after -Ph .

      4) out+="${fgred}Disk Space.........: ${fgylw}$(df -Ph / | awk '$NF == "/" { print $4 }')${fgred}/${fgylw}$(df -Ph / | awk '$NF == "/" { print $2 }')"

      i added a (re)Action Cam, a fisheye lens mounted inside the bezel.

      it shoots out so you can watch faces people make while playing—more fun than staring at backs.

      the camera is connected to the direct interface slot of the pi that controls the LED marquee, running the RPi Cam Web Interface; the feed can only be viewed inside my house's network, it is not connected to the internet. It's just for fun.

      For anyone else looking at using a Wii like this; I couldn't find any reliable sources for the internal dimensions so I measured and did a drawing myself. Hopefully this is helpful to someone...

      @IanDaemon 1. I wanted them to match (couldn't find square HMDI readily)
      2. The places I put them are actually round details. Apparently the paint I was using didn't particularly like rubbery material

      @robertvb83 Thank you too for the elaborate answer, I may have similar decoders (if they show up as DragonRise in Retropie), but I never felt compelled enough to test their special ports.

      I can absolutely understand your reasons for forgoing the door (yet). That said, I can recommend magnets for the back door. They can be mounted easily, and it would spare you the screwing every time.

      The speakers are not that important. I am just curious what parts other builders use. So, you don't have to look them up just for me, but feel free to post their information here if you happen to stumble over it sometime.

      I first tried some cheap speakers, too, but then I decided to go for reasonable higher quality and spent 70 € in total for these:

      My mini aplifier even has an output for a subwoover, so I may add one to the cabinet someday. :)

      Lurker

      I love the fold away control set.

      On the first photo I was thinking "What is that semi circle thing? Is that a control knob?" and then I realized that it is the ceiling reflected. That does get me to a question. I know getting photos may be difficult, but how well does the screen show through when playing? These pics captured a lot of the reflection and so I was curious if that has been a problem for you while playing or if once back lite you can even tell there is a mirror in front.

      You need to read the forum rules. You were already informed above that builds (AKA pirate Kodi installs and addons) are not supported here. Discussion of pirate software, especially how to get it operational, is also not allowed.

      Hi mate! Nice job.
      You've made what I am planning since a while, but due to lack of time (kids and work), I couldn't make it.
      You've chewed me a lot of time.
      Still, I have one or two questions about your wiring.
      The place where the power plug was, is that a bridge that you've placed?
      And had cut any circuit?
      Can you make me a small schema about where to where you've plugged the wires. I am on smartphone so I can't analyse properly the solders you've made.
      The led, is the original one?
      Thanks for your help, and once again, nice work!

      @roll_sk Great work! One thing I'd have done differently is the position of the speakers. I would've put the speakers to the other two sides of the cab, so that the players could hear stereo sound. However, if stereo isn't a priority, there's nothing wrong with the speakers facing the players.

      its funny you mention having to walk across the room, I found that having to press a button on the console also stopped me switching games as often, also having only one system on the console meant that I enjoyed playing that system more than just flicking through.
