@slimbrick That's most likely some video codec that's not understood by omxplayer. It's also a common problem, there are a few topics on how to re-encode those videos to be compatible with omxplayer.
It'll handle the bios names in lower or upper case and a variety of different versions but they must be named in the scphXXXX.bin or SCPHXXXX.BINformat. I've been using scph7502.bin. I don't believe there's much of a difference, if any, I've just had this handy for years.
Actually, you can use emulationstation for windows as a theme editor. I think that it would be very hard to adjust the objects dragging them with the mouse cursor and people will end up using text editor anyways.
I guess the fbi (image viewer) used to display the .png file does not support transparency ?
Ahh ok, that makes sense. It seems it defaults to a gray background. I wonder if there's a way to either have it default to a black background OR make the side bezels match the gray background i'm getting from the .png
i did put the same .exe back and everything is working again. i think my anti virus just got abit paranoid about the gameslist.xml it was creating perhaps
Nice, i like the Idea for Text Adventures, but my Games are also Playable with multi-language support or without any language. For german and other non-english User are the Games playable. The Adams text adventure are only in english and hard to play for kids and Users with bad English Skills for an text Adventure.
@alphabetapie Can you show us a gamelist.xml fragment generated by Skraper and tell how you organized your ROMs ? You shouldn't need to create any artwork folders, Skraper will create them for your, and reference them in the gamelist.xml file.
cool thanks @quicksilver, I figured as much. I rarely add games so this kinda threw me off esp will all the permissions problems I created for myself moving from 4.3 to 4.4.
