Sorry for necromancing this post. But I just noticed the "-convert_videos" flag when scraping from the command line. Is this enough to fix the YUV 4:4:4 issue? It invokes the handbrake CLI.
@mfergu32 Try sudo apt-get -f install
You just need to give it root permissions which is what adding sudo does.
I don't think this will help though as I think policykit was taken off the rasbian repository.
@alturis itโs hit or miss. Most of the lr arcade emulators donโt run well. There are direct ports of fba and mame, but can be a tad difficult to configure them. Snes runs decently, but since the pi zero runs and older version of snes9x, you may notice some graphic glitches and sound effects that are off. Also there is some minor slowdown sometimes. Gba runs pretty well. Minor slowdown there. But genesis and lower run pretty much flawlessly.
@TMNTturtlguy I am using a Sandisk 32 gb ultra, bought in the store. And I was trying to write my image back to this same card after a full format (first I wipe the Linus partition with a quick format in my Sony camera, then I do a full (overwrite) format , with 'format size adjustment' to On in sdformatter). It's really odd but there are more reports about this issue.
rpi-clone is a better alternative imo if you want to use the same size card (or smaller) for a back up
I have now bought a 32gb SD card & downloaded a large (28gb) image with thousands of games. It has installed correctly.
Third party images aren't supported here. Especially those loaded with illegal material. (A) it's supporting piracy, (2) There's just too many variables to troubleshoot and (D) it goes against ape law. If you reinstall a fresh image from the RetroPie website, we'll be happy to help you troubleshoot any issues you may have.
just the promised report. I have successfully replaced the sdl2 librarys and installed pcsx2 via the Setupscript. Worked like a charm and i havent experienced any drawback currently. Good work
Disable the joystick or update to Kodi 17 betas.
This issue was already talked here many times... Next time please do some searches in the forum before posting issues.
@mrbwa1 Okay, thank you so much, I have a small $400 Micro-ATX PC plan, so I'll build that, then I'll install Ubuntu and Retropie. If it works out, I'll post it somewhere on the forum. Thanks.
They need to be downloaded. Go into RetroPie Setup Option in the GUI. Choose Config / tools. Scroll down to 827 - splashscreen. Choose 8. Then 9. Then choose any splashscreen you want...
i've googled a bit more what exactly was the Problem...
so it is the Intel Dynamic Platform & Thermal Framework inside the Bios who made this Problem to me... it isn't a big Problem to disable it at all... even when it is not exactly a mobile Computer like mi Ockel Sirius B
